             Ministry of External Affairs is executing Scholarship Programme for Diaspora Children (SPDC scheme) for pursuing undergraduate courses. The SPDC is available to Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs)/Overseas Citizenship of India (OCIs)/ Non-resident Indian nationals (NRIs) to assist Diaspora Children in pursuing Under Graduate courses in India’s Universities/ Institutes covered under the Scheme. 

           The Scheme provides partial financial assistance to the extent of 75% of the total institutional economic cost or to a maximum of US$4,000 per annum in the first year. For second and subsequent years details regarding continuation of scholarship are described in the scheme’s guidelines are available here :

            Applicants must be between the ages of 17 and 21 years and possess a minimum of 60% aggregated marks at qualifying examinations at 12th standard (CAPE, A levels, GCE). 

         The High Commission of India invites applicants to fill the Application Form online at http://spdcindia.gov.in/login/register.php. All candidates are required to save the information filled while completing the online information Form.
